Patient Testimonials:
" Most people, upon hearing the word 'chiropractor' have one of three thoughts:
1) Thank goodness for mine;
2) I've been before, didn't see a difference; or
3) Don't see the point, I already have a doctor.
If your thoughts are a 2 and/or a 3 then I have 3 words for you: Moss Family Chiropractic.
I have been going to Dr. Daniel Moss for just about a year now. I have been nothing but impressed with his facility, his staff, his thoroughness, and his results. From migraines, which I no longer have, to adjustments, which eliminated my chronic heartburn (who knew?!), to foot and wrist pain (due to nonalignment of bones, I have since learned) all of which have been corrected. But none of these is the primary reason I feel you should go to Dr. Moss.
Many of you know that for the the last 2 weeks I have been dealing with some incredible back pain. Dr. Moss worked on me each day using a variety of techniques to get to the root of the problem. He even encouraged me to see my medical doctor so that we could rule out other possible problems.
Upon Dr. Moss's previous urging, I had made an appointment with Megan, the massage therapist, in his office, to help relieve some of the built-up tension in my lower back that was contributing to my pain. Having spent most of the day at my medical doctor's office finding out in a very abrupt, unprofessional manner the results of my latest x-rays, I was visibly upset when I arrived for my massage appointment. Dr. Moss's amazing staff, Andrea and Sue, greeted me as they always do - by name and with warm sincere smiles.
After my massage I was seen by Dr. Moss at which time I was relatively calm, but still upset. Dr. Moss, being the caring doctor that he is, asked me what was going on and how he could help. I showed him the print out of my x-ray results which was filled with big scary, impossible words that left to my own interpretation meant horrible, irreversible. Without any prompting from me, for the next several minutes, Dr. Moss went line by line explaining in 'English' what was on that paper. When possible, he showed me on diagrams what part of my body it was referring to. With each minute of explanation that passed, I felt another layer of stress peel away. It was going to be OK. Not because Dr. Moss said so, but because he cared enough to take the time to explain and show me so. That was not his job; it was the ball that my medical doctor so unethically dropped, but that Dr. Moss so unhesitatingly picked up.
Words cannot express adequately my appreciation for what Dr. Moss and his staff did for me that day. Thank you does not seem enough. When I thanked him that day and told him how much better he had made me feel - his reply with a hug was simply, "That's what I'm here for."
Words or lack of words can be powerful forces. My medical doctor proved through a lack of words how hurt a patient can be. Dr. Moss, through knowledgeable, caring words demonstrated how someone in the health profession should be. And hopefully, through the heartfelt power of my words, I have given you reason to visit Moss Family Chiropractic."
